TECHNICAL EDUCATION QUALITY IMPROVEMENT PROGRAMME (TEQIP-III)

(GOVERNMENT OF INDIA) A WORLD BANK FUNDED PROJECT

The Ministry of Human Resource Development launched in December, 2004-05 the “Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme of Government of India (TEQIP)” which aims to upscale and support ongoing efforts in improving quality of technical education and enhancing existing capacities of the institutions to become dynamic, demand-driven, quality conscious, efficient and forward looking, responsive to rapid economic and technological developments occurring both at national and international levels. The Programme was conceived and designed as a long term project to be implemented in phases to support Technical Education in the country to achieve excellence. Rajkiya Engineering College, Ambedkar Nagar has been selected for the third phase of TEQIP (TEQIP-III).MHRD has allotted 10 crores under this project in the span of three years (1st April 2017 to 31st March 2020). The goals of TEQIP-III is, better academic standards, through accreditation, training faculty in better teaching methods, qualification up gradation, improved research outputs in institution. Also to incorporate better systems for assessment of student learning, through which to produce high quality engineers with better employability. The focus is to strengthen the UG/PG labs, so that students are ready to cater the needs of industry and increasing enrollment and starting new programmes. In addition, the project also supports to enhance the skills of technical and administrative staff. MNIT Jaipur has selected as mentor institute to participate in twinning arrangements for knowledge transfer, exchange of experience, optimizing the use of resources and developing long-term strategic partnerships with College of Engg & Technology, Udaipur.

In campus gymnasium and medical treatment are available. Fully air-conditioned central library with high speed internet connectivity and it provide all types of books and magazine.

Pratibha EE 2018-2022

College life is a wild mish mash of experiences both beautiful and ugly . Every morning , I have the “wow, my bed is comfortable” vs “I should go to class debate” and at last will go to class.
The college is place where we learn to sit through a boring lecture and how to make them interesting. People might try to motivate you by telling that you need to study through your school year, but it is not true. We will find ourselves learning new things ,college gives us a platform where we can explore our co-curricular skills, share our interest and idea.
Remember learning nerve ends.

And this is so implemented in this institution. The environment of the campus promotes the overall character building of  the students and the institution is blessed with highly Qualified Teacher who are well a versed with the subjects, which hikes the interest of students in various fields.  Education and overall personality development of the student to make them capable of acheiving excellence in the highly competitive world...!   ..This is the ultimate goal of this organization.

Komal Verma IT 2016-2020

After spending seven months in this college, I am able to know that the aim of this college is to enhance knowledge and skills of the students in science, technology and human behaviour, who will serve the nation. The faculty of the college focus on knowledge or students to seek even more learning. Their goal is to nurture the talent of their students and guide them along the path of true knowledge. At last, I would say that 'REC Ambedkarnagar' is best among all the RECs.

Shweta Sagar EE 2018-2022

One of the most interesting stages in life that gives you an opportunity to explore is the ‘college phase.’ Life at college is the time when the teenage years end and we all dive deep into the ocean of new beginnings and possibilities. This golden period better equips you for all the challenges you’ll face in life and creates a strong foundation of knowledge. My experience at RAJKIYA ENGINEERING  COLLEGE AMBEDKARNAGAR has taught me one  fundamental thing – life is unpredictable. It might be good, it might be bad, it might be weird, and it might not interest you, but expect anything to happen. For example, you might have a wonderful job this moment, and be fired the very next moment. College life prepares you for all of this. It is a perfect blend of joy and hardships. You meet different people, you interact with them, you learn about their cultures and grow as a person. You will understand how to talk to different people, how to judge their behavior, thus helping you with important life skills.

Sunil Kumar IT 2015-2019

It gives me huge pleasure in describing my journey in REC Ambedkar Nagar. It has given me many opportunities to learn, explore and improve myself. The good infrastructure, like GATE classes and training provided by the college is a big help for the students to get placed and get good score in GATE exams. College focuses not only on the academics but also on personal improvement of its students. I want to thank the complete REC Ambedkar Nagar family in achieving what I have achieved.
