Department of Information Technology have state of the art laboratories with LCD and Smart Board to educate students with a realistic environment. To provide internet facility, computer center is equipped with 50 desktop computers. All desktop have 18.5 inch LED Monitors. For uninterrupted power supply, department is equipped with 100 KVA UPS. All labs have one dedicated printer for students to take printout for laboratory report.

All Computer Labs are equipped with 30 desktop computers. Each system is installed with Dual Operating System, Windows 8.1 and Linux. The labs enable users to perform General Computing Tasks, such as word processing and Internet surfing as well as more advanced computing required for course work and research. All labs have common software like Turbo C++, JAVA, Lisp, Acrobat Reader installed on each system. This is in accordance with university curriculum. The Department has following Computing facilities/Laboratories.

 

Computer Lab 01: RDBMS Lab (Incharge: Mr. Sharad Verma):

This lab is used to study various concepts of database design generation of database schemas. Student can understand and implement the relational model, SQL, indexing and query processing and can deal with issues of relational database design. To understand the processes of data mining student can use different data mining tools. This lab is used to perform practical of subjects like database management, advance database management, data mining and data warehouse using Oracle 11g.

Hardware:  Intel Core-i3, 3.40 GHz chipset, 4GB RAM and 500 GB Hard disk.

 

Computer Lab 02: Web Technology Lab (Incharge: Mr. Shivendra Kumar Pandey):

This lab is used for designing and Development of Thread-safe Servlets, managing the sessions in web applications, understanding the Java Server Pages (JSP) Technology Model, authenticating the web clients and interacting with databases with Servlets and JSPs. It is used to study the critical elements of XML and Learning the concepts of tag libraries, custom tags and JSTL & can create real time GUI applications using C# .net, ADO.net etc.

Computer Lab 03: Computer Network Lab (Incharge: Dr. Amit Kumar):

Computer network lab is used to study the implementation of state-of-the-art in network protocols, architectures, and applications. It is used to understand basic concepts of Data or computer communication and basic connecting devices, such as Ethernet, Modems, Cables or other transmission Medias. Students can understand the working of different network devices and simulate different network protocols, topologies and architecture with Advance tools and technologies. This lab is used to perform practical of different subjects like Data Communication, Computer Network, and Advance Computer Network. JAVA & NS-2 is installed on each system.

Computer Lab 04: Software Engineering Lab (Incharge: Dr. Ashish Kumar Mishra):

This lab is used to study and implement the concepts of software development in detail.Our main concentrates on dependable software development and aspect-orientation. In particular, we focus on integrating the concerns of dependability and fault tolerance into the entire software development life cycle. As a side project, we apply some of our research ideas in the context of massively multiplayer games.

Project lab (Incharge: Dr. Ramesh Chand Pandey)::

A Complete and functionally established R & D Lab is established with specific software like Visual Studio, Oracle 11g, SQL server, Dreamweaver, ASP. net to cater to the R & D needs of students. This lab is also equipped with Smart Interactive White Board which helps the teachers to have Interactive Session with Students during Project Presentation, Demos.

Research and Development Lab (Incharge: Dr. Ramesh Chand Pandey)::

Equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and cutting-edge technology, the lab provides a platform for hands-on experimentation, prototyping, and problem-solving. From conducting groundbreaking scientific experiments to developing innovative solutions for real-world problems, the project lab cultivates a culture of creativity, exploration, and knowledge sharing, driving forward the boundaries of discovery and pushing the frontiers of innovation.

New Lab1 : WSN and IoT Lab(Incharge: Mr. Shivendra Kumar Pandey and Mr. Prince Rajpoot):

Lab contains IoT devices and high processing systems. Final year students have worked on their projects using the lab by using the items purchased by TEQIP-III as the item support in projects under the guidance of various faculties. Some students are working on the projects using this lab. Many faculties are also used the lab for the research work.

New Lab2 : Image Processing Lab(Incharge: Dr. Ramesh Chand Pandey, Dr. Ashish Kumar Mishra):

The main tasks of this Lab is Research and Education in the field of Image Processing. Now days, researchers and students are working on various component of Image processing such as Image Enhancement, Image Restoration, Image Segmentation, Image Registration etc. By working in this Lab, the students and researchers shall get prominent knowledge in the field of image processing.
Software: MATLAB, Window10, OpenCV, VirtualDub etc.
Image Processing is in the course of final year so the students got benefitted by doing many practicals. Final year students worked on their projects using the lab under the guidance of various faculties. Many faculties are also used the lab for the research work.

Hardware: 16 Computer with 8th Gen, IntelCorei78700 Processor, Minimum 3.0GHZ frequency, 12 MB Cache, 6 Core, RAM- 8GB DDR ,Storage-1TB etc.

 

New Lab3 : Machine Learning Lab (Incharge: Mr. Sharad Verma, Mr. Amit Kumar):

This lab is intended to foster students and faculties to explore the area of Machine learning, Deep Learning and Data Analytics. These areas employ state-of-the-art technologies that help the model/ machine to understand the environment and solve the problem at hand in a more organised and efficient manner.

Hardware: One High configuration Workstation (HP Z8 G4 Workstation):- Intel(R) Xeon(R) Silver 4114 CPU @ 2.20GHz 2.19 GHz (2 processors with 20 cores), NVIDIA Quadro GP100 GPU 128 GB RAM, Samsung MZVLb 512 GB SSD, 1TB Hard Disk. Three Workstations (HP Z6 G4 Workstation):- Intel(R) Xeon(R) Silver 4114 CPU @ 2.20GHz 2.19 GHz, 32 GB RAM, Samsung MZVLb 512 GB SSD, 1TB Hard Disk.

 

New Lab4 : Information security lab (Incharge: Mr. Shivendu Mishra, Dr. Ashish Kumar Mishra):

Currently, the newly established information security lab has two products: 1. Monosek Network Analyzer and 2. BENCHMARK ISecurit (Learning Platform).
The Monosek Network Analyzer for information security includes Monosek Network and Protocol Analyzer system; Server with Intel Mother Board; Embedded Linux; Application software; SDK (Consists of C callable API Interface Library sample applications); GUI software; CentOS operating system. This product should investigate different protocols’ traffic patterns. Layer 2 to Layer 7 field extraction should be supported. Should be able to operate in stealth mode, which means that third-party devices cannot access it, and should be immune to network attacks. For Network forensics, the card should support VOIP, VLAN, and a unique TAG. Sessions for HTTP, SMTP, Pop3, VOIP, and other protocols should be able to be created. Furthermore, BENCHMARK ISecurit is a software-based product used to research various information security threats, viruses, and cryptographic concepts.
Technical Features of Monosek: System should come with Intel Xeon processor E-Series with minimum Quad core 3Ghz, 8GB DDR4 RAM, 1 TB HDD with Ubunutu Operating system with 2 PCI X8 slots along with 1X6 Gbps NFE-3240, and 24 port netgear switch.
Technical Features of BENCHMARK ISecurit: Central Control Unit (CCU), Network ports: 100Base-T ports – 2, One each to connect to switches of, Trusted and Black networks RJ45 interface, auto negotiating, Remote login to configure the CCU Up to 7 user logins Power input: 220V AC, 50Hz.

Computer Centre I,II (Incharge : Dr. Ashish Kumar Mishra, Mr. Amit Kumar):

Computer Centre is equipped with 50 computers of HP. Students can use internet for their academic & extra activities.
