Eligibility and Admission:

1. Admission to First Year of B.Tech.:

Admission to the First Year of the four-year B.Tech. degree programme is made through JEE (Main), followed by the counselling process conducted as per the admission procedure prescribed by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow.

Candidates are required to fulfil the prescribed educational qualifications and other eligibility conditions as notified by the competent authority for the respective academic session.

2. Direct Admission to Second Year of B.Tech. (Lateral Entry)

Eligible candidates holding a three-year diploma qualification may seek admission directly to the Second Year (Third Semester) of the B.Tech. programme through lateral entry.

Lateral-entry admission is made through the prescribed counselling process of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow, subject to the applicable eligibility conditions and availability of seats.

The number of lateral-entry seats is subject to the maximum limit prescribed by the competent authority, in addition to the sanctioned first-year intake.

3. Admission to Ph.D. Programme:

Candidates seeking admission to the Ph.D. programme are required to participate in the admission process prescribed by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow, including the entrance examination, wherever applicable.

Admission is subject to the fulfillment of the prescribed eligibility criteria, availability of seats, and availability of a suitable research supervisor in the relevant area of research.
